The UC Team
The original UC members comprised Mr. Travis Mitchell (Director of the Center for Research and Creativity), as institutional and national coordinator; together with Dr. Nhor Sanhei (then Dean for the College of Education) as project manager. Ms. Sum Thidalin was subsequently recruited as project assistant.
Travis and Dr. Sanhei at an inaugural meeting of the six partner universities in Graz in Austria in January 2019. The overall aims of the project were discussed in detail and the plans for how to achieve these.
The original meeting was important for establishing personal contacts between members of the different partner universities as the essential foundation for future collaborative work in fine-tuning the project’s mandate for achieving its proposed ends.
Travis moved on elsewhere in August 2019, to be replaced by Dr. Angus D. Munro (Vice-President for Research, Development and Policies) as UC’s institutional coordinator; in addition, the responsibilities of Dr. Nhor were much expanded with his elevation to being the Vice-President for Academic Affairs with many attendant additional responsibilities.
